Cultural Excursions
For those looking to get off the beaten path, One World Safari Tours offers a variety of unique cultural excursions that allow our guests to see, hear, feel, taste, and even smell the cultural wealth of Tanzania.
Often the most rewarding part of our guests’ Tanzanian experience, these excursions can be undertaken independently or added onto wildlife safaris or treks.
We have grouped the cultural experiences we provide into three categories:
Swahili Lessons- Short, instructional sessions to learn about specific aspects of the unifying culture and language of Tanzania.
Swahili Excursions- Half and full day trips to experience Tanzanian life outside the National Parks.
Tribal Expeditions- Single and multi-day journeys to interact with the famous indigenous tribal cultures within Tanzania.
We strive to share all the fascinating aspects of Tanzanian culture with our guests in a way that is respectful, fair, and non-exploitive of the local people.
