The Ngorongoro Highlands, recognized as a place with invaluable natural beauty and living cultural heritage, is protected as a National Conservation Area. We have designed a trek to let you experience why.
This expedition will take you from cultural encounters with the tribes of Lake Eyasi; to a game drive in the World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater with Africa’s largest population of endangered Black Rhino; through cool rainforest and Maasai mountain pastureland; into the lesser known Olmoti and Empakai craters; and finally up Mt.
