Tanzania boasts the worlds’ highest density of large predators and the largest population of endangered Black Rhino, both in the enigmatic Ngorongoro Crater, and Africa’s best location to enjoy elephants, in the unmistakable Tarangire National Park. Within Tanzania’s borders lies 80 percent of the Serengeti savanna, home to the Great Migration, where millions of herding zebra and wildebeest make their seasonal pilgrimage in an awesome and unparalleled spectacle (June –September, December- February).
One World Safari Tours provides trips to Tanzania’s Southern and Coastal Safari Circuits, and specializes in the Northern Circuit of Tanzania’s fourteen National Parks, which includes Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Arusha, and Kilimanjaro. National Parks, as opposed to Game Reserves and Wildlife Management Areas, are for the exclusive habitation of wildlife and are protected by strict conservation regulations. The parks can only be enjoyed on guided tours through licensed safari operators.

Not the type who goes on vacation to take it easy? Challenge yourself with a half-trek, half-walking safari to the summit of Tanzania’s 5th highest peak, Mt. Meru, then head out to the savanna to rough it with a 4 day camping safari to the National Park highlights.
Day 0: Pick up at Airport, Overnight in Arusha
Day 1: Depart Arusha for Momella gate (1500m). Walk through grassland and forest,
lunch at Fig Tree, and arrive at Miriakamba Hut (2,514m) after 4 -6hrs.
Day 2: Climb out of mountain forest into moorland, past Elephant Ridge,
to Saddle Hut (3, 570m). Optional afternoon ascent to Little Meru (3,820m) to
watch the sunset.
Day 3: Depart around 2AM for the steep ascent to Rhino point (3,800m), continue
along ridge to reach Cobra Point (4,350m) at sunrise, and summit at Socialist
Peak (4,556m). Enjoy spectacular views of Ash cone in the crater and Mt. Kilimanjaro in the distance. Descend to Saddle Hut for lunch, then continue to Miriakamba for overnight. 10-12 hr trek.

Day 3: Travel to coastal town of Tanga. Enjoy tropical
beaches and Chaga culture.
Day 4 & 5: After lunch, short trip to famous Pangani
beaches. Enjoy the beautiful beach town for an
extra day.
Day 6: Drive to Saadani National Park, “where the bush
meets the sea,” for a full day of Game Drives.
Overnight in the Park.
Day 7: Full morning Game Drive in Saadani. After lunch,
travel to Bagamoyo coastal city for a final night on
the Indian Ocean.
Day 8: After a morning in Bagamoyo, drive to Tanzania’s
functioning capital city, Dar es Salam for drop off
at your hotel (hotel not included in trip cost).
